About Us
The story of Annapoorna Enterprises is deeply rooted in tradition, passion, and a bold vision that began over four decades ago. It was in 1984 that N. Krishna Reddy, a humble agriculturist from Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, took the courageous step of introducing the bold flavors of his native cuisine to Bangalore. He opened the first Annapoorna restaurant on Residency Road, driven by a deep love for authentic Andhra food and a desire to share its essence with a wider audience.
The bold spices, earthy aromas, and home-style cooking were new to the city. But what started as a quiet experiment quickly grew into a beloved culinary destination.
Annapoorna – A Taste of Tradition
Today, this proud legacy is carried forward by his youngest son, N. Mohan Reddy, who took over the reins at just 21. Under the visionary leadership of its current owner, N. Mohan Reddy, Annapoorna has grown into a name synonymous with uncompromising quality and the timeless taste of authentic Andhra cuisine.
